Audrey on a tuffit
I had a fantastic weekend but I think the absolute best thing about the weekend was getting to spend the weekend babysitting little Audrey. Matt and Brian spent the weekend at a seminar (or whatever they call it – you’ll have to ask them) and left Audrey with us. It was so much fun though DAMN – its a lot of work… She is an absolute angel to watch but at her age you really can’t ever take your eyes off of her. She was exploring EVERYWHER and she insisted on darting for our stairs every time I looked away.. But we had the best time..
We went to breakfast, we played at home, took a nap, went out to lunch, went to the park.. It was a great day – and she really was just as cute as this all day. And, a note to Daddy and Poppa – Blank CD spools are the BEST toys EVER…
We share your Pain
Ok.. now this is pretty damn funny… Seems Microsoft has taken crash / error reporting to the next level… Look here for more details…
Baby Cages
I’m going to have to prey that this is a joke… cuz if its not then… um… oh… my…. GOD!!!!
Muni on the Freeway
Just getting a bunch of pictures off of my camera and I ran across this one… For those who weren’t aware – my daily commute is a 46 mile drive from San Francisco to Cupertino where Apple’s offices are … The drive down 280 is absolutely beautiful but after doing it for years you do start looking for new and interesting things to distract you.. This is my favorite – a couple of times recently i’ve seen a MUNI train rolling down the freeway.. Makes me giggle every time.. I had NO IDEA I could take Muni to work! 😉 🙂
October 11 – National Coming Out Day
For those of you who missed it, today was National Coming Out Day… And for those of you who were unclear – i’m Gay… Um.. duhhh.. But anyway.. Today at work we had a NCOD lunch in the Apple Cafeteria which was very cool… Apple Lambda (Apple’s GLTB employee group) put together the event and one of the guys running the show managed to get Hal Sparks from Queer as Folk (among other things) to come up from LA for lunch.. Turnout was great and the lunch was a lot of fun.. I didn’t personally talk to the guest star but was still cool…
Anyway.. just had to share..
Another Cool Geek Tool
In doing my usual blog browsing over lunch I found another cool tool out there thanks to web graphics. Xyle scope is a pretty nifty tool for examining and understanding how Style Sheets fit together on blogs. It allows you to view a site and its associated style sheets and understand what styles apply to what elements. You simply point it at a site and it displays the site on the left side and the styles on the right side. It gives you a bunch of different views into the whole style sheet as well as, when in selection mode, understand what styles are being used to display a given element. MAN I could have used this a few weekends ago when I was dorking around with my styles…
