Dubbya Alternative

Anyone know anything about Howard Dean? Was just poking around at his site and noticed the ‘Dean for America’ icon on it.. I’ve heard good things about this guy before and DESPERATELY want a viable alternative to the current administration. I won’t go into why right now cuz that will start a diatribe that I don’t have time to finish but finding a candidate with his head on straight that has a hope of competing in SF AND the bible belt (not necessarily winning both - but putting up a good fight) is important..

Anyway.. Thought? impressions? pros? cons?
