Ugh. How repulsive. Don’t these people have holes in the sand in Afghanistan they’re supposed to be hiding in?…oh, wait, wrong set of insane religious fundamentalists.

It looks like they’ve pulled the video from their site. There’s no reference to the sermon on the archive page. I was able to snag it beforehand, and have put the relevant diatribe on my blog site at http://pblog.blogdns.net/

Jeesus, Pete - that’s fucking abhorrent. I felt physical ache for having read that for the sake of you and every other gay person I respect, admire and love.

I believe that God, if he really exists, will put that little nugget down in his book and old Jimmy will have to pay for that. It’s not enough to pay lip service - God, if he’s there, knows what’s in your heart, so Swaggart is royally screwed.

What’s worse - a gay man who loves another gay man and doesn’t hurt anyone, or a man of “God” who wants to kill gay people - people who have nothing to do with him in the slightest?

You were born gay and God made you that way for a reason. Why these people can’t understand that is beyond me. The fact that this guy has an audience at all is baffling.

(As if a gay man would look twice at Swaggart? Puh-leeze. You ever notice how it’s the most unappealing, unattractive people that think gay men are hot for them? It’s all that repressed homosexuality, methinks.)
