My new favorite thing
Last saturday night when I got to Vegas I went out with a bunch of co-workers to a club called Ice where Paul Oakenfold was spinning and I discovered my new favorite thing. They had the fog machine OF DOOM. It was so fucking cool I can’t even tell you. A couple of times in the middle of a set all of a sudden fog would come pouring out of the ceiling like a huge waterfall and completely flood the room with white fog. The fog was so thick you couldn’t even see the people around you so all you could see was the lights through the fog… It had the same effect as I get by dancing with my eyes closed - you can just focus on the music and see the colors of the lights change. It would last like that for just a little bit and then dissipate… SO FUCKING COOL!
anyway.. had to share!
Where I’ve been
In case you’ve been wondering where I’ve been and why I’ve been such an anti-social freak for the last few months.. I can now talk about it - we announced Final Cut Studio last Sunday and I’ve been at NAB in Las Vegas showing it off. In particular I was involved heavily in Final Cut Pro, LiveType, and Cinema Tools as well as the integration between FCP and Soundtrack Pro. I won’t go into all the coolness thats in there - you can read more about it on Apple’s Site.. But suffice it to say its full of coolness… And i’m kinda proud of it - its my baby!
