A Science Fair of a Different Color

Monday, September 29th, 2003 | Giggles

Ok.. This is just WRONG… Natalie pointed me at a link to the Creation Science Fair 2001 and I had to pass it along. I’ll leave the commentary to her (cuz I don’t really even know where to START) but I HAD to pass it along. As far as I can tell from poking around on that site its for real but I would LOVE to hear that its a hoax.

Happy Monday! 😉

This has to be a hoax…or else I’d claim we have some very messed up kids out there.

Sadly, it’s legit. I’ve been getting more mail/comments from outraged Christians than non-religious people, which surprised me. I guess no one wants to be mistaken for those freaks – and I can’t say as I blame them in the slightest.

*sigh*… Thats what I was afraid of…

That kind of thing is kind of like Fred Phelps – makes the main stream conservative christians look bad.

Sad thing is some of these seem striking similiar to the internet jokes that are floating around out there like The Thermodynamics of Hell. Its like people read this stuff and take it as ‘science’

It is a hoax. I researched the names and schools mentioned in that article a while back, and it turned up bogus. Dr. Richard Paley is a fake personailty. Whoever it is, writes articles like this under that identity as a very well-crafted joke.
Pete, you’ll especially enjoy his article on the evils of the Apple Macintosh.
