Where I’ve been

Friday, April 22nd, 2005 | Geek Stuff | 1 Comment

In case you’ve been wondering where I’ve been and why I’ve been such an anti-social freak for the last few months.. I can now talk about it – we announced Final Cut Studio last Sunday and I’ve been at NAB in Las Vegas showing it off. In particular I was involved heavily in Final Cut Pro, LiveType, and Cinema Tools as well as the integration between FCP and Soundtrack Pro. I won’t go into all the coolness thats in there – you can read more about it on Apple’s Site.. But suffice it to say its full of coolness… And i’m kinda proud of it – its my baby! 🙂

Gay in the Heartland

Saturday, April 9th, 2005 | Gay Stuff | 1 Comment

I heard a really good segment on NPR on the way to work today (yea – I know… on the way to work on SATURDAY… Don’t get me started).. The segment was called Gay in the Heartland and was done by a woman who’s lesbian mother lives in small town Kentuckiana (southern Indiana / Northern Kentucky). Its worth a listen.

Dinner with Kevin, Matt, Brian, and a Rabbit

Kevin and I went to dinner with Matt, Brian, and Audrey tonight at Home which was super nice.. But my favorite part was the new song I grew up with that we taught the baby:

Little Bunny Foo Foo

Little Bunny Foo Foo,

Hopping through the forest

Scooping up the field mice

And boppin’ ’em on the head

Down came the good fairy and she said

“Little Bunny Foo Foo,

I don’t want to see you

Scooping up the field mice

And boppin’ ’em on the head.

I’ll give you three chances,

And if you don’t behave

I’ll turn you into a goon!”

The next day:

Little Bunny Foo Foo,

Hopping through the forest

Scooping up the field mice

And boppin’ ’em on the head

Down came the good fairy and she said

“Little Bunny Foo Foo,

I don’t want to see you

Scooping up the field mice

And boppin’ ’em on the head.

I’ll give you two more chances,

And if you don’t behave

I’ll turn you into a goon!”

The next day:

Little Bunny Foo Foo,

Hopping through the forest

Scooping up the field mice

And boppin’ ’em on the head

Down came the good fairy and she said

“Little Bunny Foo Foo,

I don’t want to see you

Scooping up the field mice

And boppin’ ’em on the head.

I’ll give you one more chance,

And if you don’t behave

I’ll turn you into a goon!”

Scooping up the field mice

I gave you three chances

And you didn’t behave

Now you’re a goon! POOF!!”

The moral of the story is:

HARE TODAY, GOON TOMORROW

How fucked up is that? I LOVE it! 🙂 If you want more check these out:

CRAZY

Believe it or not I haven’t actually forgotten about my blog (all evidence to the contrary) but life has been crazy busy lately and when its busy with work and relationship stuff I can’t really talk about it on here – thus the silence…. sorry bout that..

Pretty much the only news I’ve had aside from stuff I can’t talk about was Easter. Kevin and I went up to Sacramento to my parent’s place and brought Matt, Brian, Audrey, and Kevin’s friend Amanda to spend the weekend.. It was really nice to get away. My mom’s new place has a pool, hot tub, trampoline (seriously), and a theater with a HD projector. Matt and Brian posted pictures here.
