Bjork
I’m stoked… We’re going to see Bjork tonight. As is, it seems, the rest of San Francisco… Should be fun and silly! 🙂
Art / Photography
Went to an Art / Photography show tonight at Kevin’s office. Gensler has started an artists series where they show art from various artists in their office space four times a year and on the first day of each showing they have a reception with the artist that is open to the public. This month’s display was from Madeleine Isom and it was outstanding. She was showing black and white photography of very geometric architectural structures. She had a number of outstanding ones from around San Francisco and she had a few that were of the World Trade Center. Most were of small segments of the actual buildings and were very simple and geometric.. Very nice…
If Kevin will let me I’ll post information about the next show…
(I just noticed that she has most if not all of the images that she was showing on her web site above… check ’em out)
I need a cocktail
Not sure this could have been a more typical Monday… Anyone wanna meet me for a drink? 😉
On a lighter note
We’re goin to the Tonga Room at the Farimont Hotel on Nob Hill tonight with a friend of Kevin’s from College… Looks like it could very well be the cheesiest place on the planet… I don’t know if I should be scared or excited… 😉
Charlie’s Angels
Ok.. So Kevin and I saw the second Charlie’s Angels tonight… Matt warned me not to.. Said it was AWFUL.. I mean – REALLY bad… But I actually enjoyed it… Not an award winner by ANY stretch of the imagination and at certain points it is colossally stupid. But overall it was exactly what I was looking for. Silly stupid messed up fun. And the fact that Bosley changes race on you between the first and second movie does make sense when you see it.
Granted now I’m going to have to see some heart wrenching independent film to make me feel better about killing brain cells on this one.. but still! 🙂
