“The way things work”
So I had this COOL book when I was a kid called “The way things work”. It was this wicked cool book that explained how everything works - from cars to computers to blenders to steam turbines.. Had cool descriptions as well as really nice pictures and diagrams.. Since I was a geek from an early age and very curious I loved this kind of thing… Pissed my parents off on many occasions by taking apart everything I could find to see how it worked.. My dad came home from work one day to find that I had completely dissected the new Atari 800 computer he had gotten me for christmas and it was all over the kitchen table - I just wanted to see what was in side.. Luckily I was also very meticulous so I generally got everything back together too - and was pretty good at recognizing when I wouldn’t be able to (so I didn’t try to take the disk drive apart)..
Well - it turns out that for a day job she has been doing banners for a site just like my book… Her work is wicked cool but i’m loving this site too… brings out the kid in me! :):)

Well, technically, I didn’t do the banners for that site. I did the banners for a company, who was hired by the company in the banners, who paid to have them placed on that site. I’m like 5 tiers back on this one.
But thanks for the link.
LOL… I’m prone to over simplify… but had to get in a pitch for ya cuz ya made me smile! :):):)
