Muni on the Freeway
Just getting a bunch of pictures off of my camera and I ran across this one… For those who weren’t aware - my daily commute is a 46 mile drive from San Francisco to Cupertino where Apple’s offices are … The drive down 280 is absolutely beautiful but after doing it for years you do start looking for new and interesting things to distract you.. This is my favorite - a couple of times recently i’ve seen a MUNI train rolling down the freeway.. Makes me giggle every time.. I had NO IDEA I could take Muni to work!

Last week a friend e-mailed me a photo of what must have been the same train, only the truck was broken down on the side of 280.
A broken down Muni train seems to be an all too common sight. I wonder if this was the same train I was on board a few weeks ago when it’s axle snapped arriving at Van Ness Station, being hauled off for repair?
