Damn Good Book
Just picked up Dr. Tatiana’s Sex Advice to All Creation and its great… Totally Pete book – funny but factual. It talks about the mating habits of animals and plants across the planet but does it in the form of Dear Abby like letters which makes it really fun to read… Sections that start out like
“Dear Dr. Tatiana,
Perhaps you can help. I don’t know wha’s happened to me. I’m a twenty-seven-year-old African elephant, and I ussed to enjoy showering at the water hole and other idle pleasures. But the joy has gone from my life. I feel angry all the time – if I see another bull elephant, I want to kill him. And i’m obsessed with sex. Night after night I have erotic dreams, and the sight of a beautiful cow sends me into a frenzy. Worst of all, my penis has turned green. Am I ill?
Anxious in Amboseli”
She then goes on to answer the leter with a lot of interesting and fun facts.. And the animals range from humans to trees, to bees, to elephants, to you name it…
Late night sillyness…
This test thanks to TXT Guckloch….
Danke schön – Jetzt müß ich ins Bett! 😉
You are Neo, from “The Matrix.” You
display a perfect fusion of heroism and
compassion.
Movie recommendation…
If you haven’t seen Identity you should…. We saw it totally by accident last night so we knew nothing about it and it was fantastic… little gorey for my usual taste (I squeeled and jumped on my seat a couple of times) but has some really wild twists… can’t say more than that without blowing it… but see it…
( actually – don’t even watch the trailer… just go see it without knowing anything… :):) )
My next trip…
Oh my god… Friend just pointed me at his last trip pictures… I WANNA GO… Check these out….
( check out the boys he took pix of in Rio too… DAMN – combine those two places and I’d be in heaven! 😉 )
On a Ligher Note
I think i want to train my Dog in German when we get it… Our dog when I lived in Germany was (obviously) trained in German and it seemed to be more straightforward for the dog to understand.. Not to mention I think it just sounds cool… Found this on the web today!
Not to mention the ‘correction word’ made me chuckle! 🙂
What to do
Ok… So my first holiday weekend in AGES where i didn’t have to at least work for part of it.. (ok.. so technically i’m on call since we still haven’t shipped this damn thing – but regardless I don’t have to go to cupertino)…
and I’m at a loss as to how to fill my time!… I’m SURE I’ll wind up filling it up and be depressed on monday as usual because its over… But I feel like I should have alredy planned something and I haven’t…
Memorial Day weekends in the past I’ve always done the club / dance thing all weekend… Gus always have a weekend chock full of ‘events’ in SF every year this weekend… Gay day at great america… Metropolis… Pleasuredome… And I’m sure tahts all still going on (ok.. I know its all still going on)..
But for some reason this year I just don’t care… its yet another circuit / club weekend like every other one… Way too much money to get into each place for a night of dancing ($50 is just too much for entrance – let alone the $75-$100 that other parties cost) and its the same crowd as every other year…
I need variety… I need sunshine… I need outside…
I’ve got a friend of mine coming in from NYC tomorrow afternoon so thats my tomorrow night… Know of a couple of BBQs on Monday that sound interesting…
Maybe camping or something… Or a hike up to mount tam… Hmmmm….
M & B are coming over tonight for dinner! 🙂
I’m open to suggestions! 😉 😉
