Houston Bound

So it looks llike i’m gonna be headin to Houston in August. Got a cousin getting married out there and it sounds like a good excuse to check out the town… But DAMN – I’m guessin houston is gonna be HOT at the end of august..

Any ideas on how to pass t he time when i’m not at the wedding?

I’ve got this song stuck in my head.. We were playing it all week at NAB in the booth and now I can’t scrape it out of my brain.. Its kinda catchy though I can’t tell if I actually like it or not

My new favorite thing

Last saturday night when I got to Vegas I went out with a bunch of co-workers to a club called Ice where Paul Oakenfold was spinning and I discovered my new favorite thing. They had the fog machine OF DOOM. It was so fucking cool I can’t even tell you. A couple of times in the middle of a set all of a sudden fog would come pouring out of the ceiling like a huge waterfall and completely flood the room with white fog. The fog was so thick you couldn’t even see the people around you so all you could see was the lights through the fog… It had the same effect as I get by dancing with my eyes closed – you can just focus on the music and see the colors of the lights change. It would last like that for just a little bit and then dissipate… SO FUCKING COOL!

• The Fantastic 4 (if for no other reason than the Human Torch is HOT – pun intended)

My man is the man

Kevin got promoted to ‘Associate’ at work.. Very big deal and for the occasion they took a cute picture of him to post on the public website. So now i’m not sure which one I like better – the Associate picture or his picture with Audrey (though he HATES that picture – so don’t tell him I posted it! 😉 )

So regardless – Congratulate him if ya see him.. He’s earned it! 🙂

Wow…

A little over due for a post here huh? I was checking out what my blog looked like on Matt’s Crackberry and whining about how crappy it looked.. Then I looked at it this morning and realized its been SO long since i’ve posted that the content area has gone blank… So I guess its not so much the Crackberry as much as its the fact that i’m a LOOSER… Anyway.. Here’s a post for good measure..

I’ll try to post a little more but no promises cuz when I get busy (which I am now) its hard to come up with clever things to post (and posting about work is largely off limits for confidentiality reasons and posting about relationship stuff is usually off limits for fear of pissing off kevin! ;))
